Life is tough enough without these man made problems. How do you make sense of the nonsensical? My heart is broken, my soul is disgusted 💔 I pray for healing. This is not okay. I am not okay any I know a lot of people are not okay. Hold your loved ones tight, let them know how loved they are.
It is my opinion that a lot of us have settled into our comfort zones because we are not willing to do the work required to figure out what makes us spark. We tend to go about life as passive participants. Do you find that a lot of people default to "It has always been done this way". Do you ever think and ask WHY has it always been done this way? Why can't it change? Intentional living results from uncomfortable questions? Seek clarity....why are you where you are right now? What events got you here? Is here where you want to be? If it is not, what needs to change?
Monday funday! I choose to start the week on a positive note. It's all in the attitude. Have a great week. It's all about the intention behind the life you chose to live.
Do you stop yourself from following your dreams because of your limiting beliefs? I hear excuses time and time again, heck even I have them. They sound like ,❤ I don't know how, ❤I am too busy, ❤I dont have time, ❤I have to make a living, ❤I am just trying to survive, ❤I am okay with the way things are. I don't know about you but I had to call time out on my excuses. It is not easy because they still show up occasionally so what I had to learn was to ask myself empowering questions instead.
My inner circle knows that I am a busy body by nature. Mine is that type of mind that is constantly spinning. Believe me I have tried to slow down and it is not in my nature. I somehow find myself on to the next project. So when I get asked how do you find the time to do it all? It gives me pause for thought. The sayings such as "if its important enough you will find the time" come to mind. I have lots of dreams and I realize that it is up to me to make them happen. So, if it means I have to be a busy body to make them happen then so be it. At the core of it all is the fact that I am being busy working on my dreams. So next time you feel you do not have the time to put towards your dreams do an audit of a day in your life. What are you doing .... count all those hours you are scrolling on social media or getting caught up the latest show on netflix. Those are hours that could be spent working towards your goals. Dont get me wrong I do spend time buried deep in a good show but I do it with intention and that is why it might appear as though I have way too much time on my hands.
I had this mantra on repeat in my head 3 miles into my 6 mile run this morning because I was ready to give up. The thing about that voice, it doesn't want to give up on you. You know the voice, the one that has been with you throughout your life. The one that has kept you safe but at the same time kept you stuck. The voice that thinks it is keeping you safe by telling you that it is okay to give up. Well that voice was with me this morning and it nearly convinced me to give up. Thus the mantra...just keep running forward. So what I am trying to say is intentional living can be hard and that voice will show up after all it has been with you your whole life. Key is to replace it with an empowering mantra like. It eventually shuts it down that's what I did this morning and I was able to run 6.45 miles.
